A graduate of Grand Canyon University with a degree in History, Coach Roberts has built an impressive coaching résumé at the high school level, serving in key roles at Berkeley High School, Summerville High School, West Ashley High School, and Pinecrest High School in North Carolina. Throughout his coaching career, he has contributed to multiple region and conference championships, a Lower State appearance, an Elite Eight run, and a Final Four appearance.
Known for his strengths in skill development, culture building, feeder program development, and weight room leadership, Coach Roberts has developed a reputation for building strong relationships with student-athletes while fostering competitive, disciplined programs.
Most recently, Coach Roberts served as a Boys Varsity Assistant Coach at Berkeley High School after helping lead Summerville High School’s JV and varsity programs to significant success. His passion for developing young men on and off the court makes him a tremendous addition to Hanahan Athletics.
