Skylar Hunter
Skylar Hunter is entering his 3rd year as the head coach at Hanahan High School. His first two years were highlighted by a Lower State Championship, 2 District Championships, HIT Tournament Championship, Region Championship, and 51 team wins.
After graduating from Hanahan High School in 2012, Skylar went on to The Citadel to play for coach Freddy Jordan, where he holds the school and Southern Conference record for career saves. All-Conference honors and Freshman All-American Honors highlighted his time at The Citadel. After getting drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2015 and a short stint in the minors, he returned to Hanahan to begin coaching at his alma mater.
Skylar has a degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration from The Citadel. He has a wife, Chandler, and two children, Banks and Rhys.
