Head Coach - John Butler

A proud U.S. Army veteran, he honorably served his country for more than 22 years. He graduated from East Clarendon Middle/High School in Turbeville, SC, in 1992, where he was a dedicated student-athlete competing in both basketball and track throughout his high school years.

 After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and continued nurturing his passion for basketball. While serving overseas, he became actively involved in youth sports, which marked the beginning of his coaching career. He volunteered for more than 18 years with the Department of Defense Schools, coaching multiple sports, including basketball, football, and track.

 Following his military retirement, he returned home to continue his commitment to developing young people within his community. He founded a youth sports nonprofit organization and went on to serve in several coaching roles, including Assistant Varsity/JV Head Basketball Coach at East Clarendon Middle/High School and Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach at Lake City High School.
