In the article, Westview Middle alumnus Ryan Snell, now a Navy Musician 1st Class in the Fleet Band, credits the Westview Band Program, and Mr. Ward specifically, as the driving force behind his passion for music. His story is a powerful reminder of the lasting impact that great teachers have on their students, long after they leave our building.
We are incredibly proud of Mr. Ward and grateful for the dedication he pours into our students every day. Moments like this showcase what makes Westview special.

We are absolutely THRILLED to announce that Westview Middle School's chocolate fundraiser has raised over $10,000!
This incredible total is a testament to the hard work of our students and the overwhelming generosity of our entire community—parents, local businesses, and friends.
Your donations will directly support our Renaissance programs which continue to recognize academic achievement, good citizenship, and celebrating our amazing staff.
A huge shout out to our first place sellers, Aaron Wilson and Aria Lovejoy who got to pie Dr. Bradley!

Our Westview Warriors brought the beat to the Coastal Carolina Fair this past weekend! So proud of all our talented musicians and our Director, Mr. Ward, for an amazing performance. Go Warriors!

School Report Card results are in, and Westview Middle School is proud to announce that our performance exceeds the criteria to ensure all students meet the Profile of a South Carolina Graduate!
This year, we earned an overall rating of 51 — “Good” — a 7-point increase from last year! Additionally, our student progress was ranked as "Excellent", the highest level possible! 📈
Our students, teachers, and staff worked incredibly hard to achieve this growth, and we could not be prouder of their dedication and teamwork. 💪
We’re celebrating this milestone today, but our eyes are on the future — the best is yet to come at Westview! 💙💛

Congrats to our Spooky Story contest winner, Adahlia R.! Her story "The Dance of the Spiders" was both creepy and beautifully written. Paul P.'s story "A Night at the Burger Shack" received honorable mention for leaving us spooked and hungry.

This past Monday, Mrs. Malcher's Chorus 1 students participated in the SCMEA SAB Choral Clinic at Charleston Southern University. Students joined with others from BCSD to perform four songs under the direction of guest clinician, Austin Hannon, from the Atlanta, Georgia area. We are so proud of these students! Keep up the great work.

Last Friday, our Warriors celebrated our first "High 5 Friday" as they rallied together, draped in a sea of pink! Every shade of pink worn was a powerful testament to our school's love, hope, and support for breast cancer awareness. So heartwarming to see our school unite for such an important cause! And a HUUUUUGE Thank you to Stratford High School's Athletic and Renaissance programs for showing us how it's done.
