Surf's up with school breakfast! Did you know next week is National School Breakfast Week? For eating school breakfast, students will be entered to win daily and grand prizes from our child nutrition services team. #makingapositivedifference

Please send in a note if your child is absent from school. The note needs to have the child's name, teacher's name, date of absence and reason for the absence. Please send the note to school or email to Mrs. Theresa Young. (youngt@bcsdschools.net)

WVP will be hosting its Spring Book Fair from February 23 - March 1. The book fair will close at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1. Students will have a scheduled class time to shop the fair. Credit cards, cash, and checks are accepted (checks payable to WVP).  The book fair will  be open for Family Night on Wednesday, February 28 from 3:30 -6:00 p.m. We will have a ROOMS information session from 4:00pm - 5:30 pm. Please stop by our Music room if you have questions or need help with ROOMS.

We want to thank our Second grade Pelican Board members for sharing their data binders today. Our students are leaders at WVP! We are super proud of their hard work and goal setting.

Don't forget that Kindness Week starts next week! Shout out to the following students and families for donating for our Kindness Week Activities: Oliver Brill, Olivia Iseman, Bailey Kirkley, Deshawn and Grayson Lemon, Paxton and Kinsley Brown and Lowe's of Goose Creek. We couldn't do it without you! We will be collecting coloring books, drawing pads, pencils, markers, crayons and games such as Uno, Go Fish, etc for the entire month of February to donate to MUSC Children's Center.
