Stay Safe For The Holidays... Happy Holidays

Nexton has some naughty elves!!! They are causing a ruckus around Nexton Elementary....
Talk to your students today about the chaos they have caused.

Nexton Elementary Beta Club in conjunction with community members in the Moncks Corner area are spreading cheer by providing 30 blankets to be distributed to nursing home residents in St. Stephens. It is an-honor to purchase and provide these to the home.
Be on the lookout for other ways you can help Beta Club support our local communities, including a pop can tab drive starting in January.
And don’t forget to send in your "free of holes and receipts" plastic bags to place in the bin in the front foyer. These bags are collected and sent off to Holy City Missions to assist their food bank and shelter.

Here they are!..... The Bus, Dismissal, and Arrival ticket winners!!!! These students were in our drawing to receive a treat from administration for being so AWESOME!!!!
Congratulations... Keep It Up!!!

Last Friday, the whole school had spirit day...staff went all out and rocked their NES gear!!!
Best Staff In The State!!!! #Seriously

Last Saturday our own Rocket Robotics team competed in the First Lego League Qualifier event. The team rocked out the day presenting their robot and project in front of judges from the engineering field. As wells competed in three "robot games" where they had to complete missions in a given amount of time using a robot and code they had built from scratch!
This amazing group of kids made us so proud coming home with 2nd place in their robot design presentation as a team, Riley Wagner was recognized as a Future Ref in training (Exceptional understanding of the Robot games) and Mrs. Drummond was awarded the Coach Mentor award.
We are so proud of the team and every challenge they faced and excelled beyond. We can't wait to see what they do in February at Storm the Citadel.
