Words can't express how proud we are of our fall season Girls on the Run group! Thank you Coastal Carolina Girls on the Run for the opportunity and to our coaches for their time and dedication to support this program and these young ladies! We can't wait for the spring!

Art 1 S's conducted a drawing contest with a theme of "Winter kNight." S's voted on sketches and the winning sketch was selected for the BCSD Celebrate the Season board. Brian H's sketch was chosen and with the help of Iryce, Sariah, Kiersten, and Lisa it was then painted on an 8ft plywood board. It will be displayed at Santee Canal Park's Celebrate the Season event starting 12/4/23.

The Tireless Teacher Award biweekly program is designed to recognize extraordinary teachers for their impact on and contributions to the students at College Park Middle School. The students from the previous winner's class vote to decide upon the next winner of this award. Megan Harrison was chosen based on the following characteristics of a Tireless Teacher. There will be two alternative certification info sessions for prospective teachers. The first session will be held virtually on October 18 at 6 p.m., and the second will be on November 1 at 4:30 p.m. at our main office in Moncks Corner.

We had so much fun cheering on our SHS B Team players in their 12-7 win Thursday night! Awesome job guys!
Our families had so much fun learning at the Title I Annual Meeting and Trivia event! We "TACO"ed about iReady, Schoology, Parent Portal, Title I, and then had some intense trivia competition. Thanks to our CPM dance groups that performed between each round and huge shoutout to La Mixteca for the most amazing food and service!

We have a published author at College Park Middle! 7th grader, Virginia Haynes, is doing amazing things. Hot off the press, we received the 2023 copy of the Appelley Publishing Poetry Collection of Young Poets where Virginia's poem titled, "Me" is included.
This group of girls are putting in the miles in preparation for our 5K in November! We are so proud of the girl power bonds they are building through this process! The coaches are having a blast too! @GOTRCoastalCarolina #GOTR
