Our Loggerhead Leader of the Day is Leonard Dobson! Leonard leads with joy! His upbeat spirit and positive energy brighten every room he walks into.

Principal Pals kicked off Friday morning with BIG energy! Students from every grade level met with our Administrators to share ideas, talk about school life, and help shape an even better CLS!

We are so proud of all our participants for their hard work, courage, and sportsmanship. A special shoutout to our pronouncer, judges, record keeper, and custodians for making this event possible!

Busy day in Kindy Land! Our Kinders enjoyed a magical field trip to watch Cane Bay High School’s Dance Team perform The Polar Express — and the holiday fun didn’t stop there… SANTA made a special visit!

We’re so grateful to our incredible PTA for hosting our 2nd Annual Polar Pals Holiday Shop! Thank you for making this holiday season extra special for our students.




Spirit Alert! Next week we’ll be jingling all the way to winter break with our festive spirit days. Get ready to show off that holiday spirit!

Be sure to bundle up tomorrow! It is going to be very chilly in the morning. Our school Winter Band and Strings Concerts are tomorrow night. The Band Concert will be at 6:00 p.m., and the Strings Concert will by at 7:00 p.m. in the CLS Cafeteria. All children who attend the event must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Our Spelling Bee is scheduled for Wednesday morning. Please see the attached flyer.

Loggerhead Luminary of the Week: Ms. Hagwood! We are excited to celebrate Ms. Hagwood, one of our amazing MLL teachers. She brings incredible patience, passion, and creativity to supporting our multilingual learners each day. Her students feel valued, encouraged, and confident because of the care she puts into her work. We are so grateful for her dedication to our school community!
