Exploring History: WWII Museum Lesson: Miss Whitaker's World History students had an immersive experience exploring the impact of WWII through curated artifacts and interactive stations. From the European and Pacific Theaters to life on the home front and post-war reconstruction, they delved into the personal stories and historical events that shaped our world. This hands-on lesson brought history to life, encouraging critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the war's lasting legacy. #STAGS #STANDOUT

Back in March, Teacher Cadet Kirsten Chappelear presented a lesson to her kindergarten students. Her lesson included a read aloud of the book I Need My Moster and a follow-up activity requiring students to create a monster of their own. Once students illustrated their monsters, we enlisted the help of the art teacher, Mr. Cotton, to bring the students' creations to life! Using the kindergarteners' illustrations, Mr. Cotton and his art students sculpted and painted clay replicas of the monsters. Well, today was delivery day! We snuck in a surprise visit with the students of BES and gifted them with their in-real-life monsters! There were smiles all around and we think it's safe to say a new BHS Teacher Cadet tradition was born!
